Privacy statement

Last updated: 1 August 2026

This statement explains how Presdia, trading as Translorian ("Translorian", "we") handles personal data when you use this website or ask us for a translation, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch implementation (UAVG).

Who is responsible

Presdia, trading as Translorian, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KvK 80504124 (VAT NL003449069B04), at Thomas Diggeslaan, Hoofddorp, the Netherlands, is the controller for the personal data described here.

For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@presdia.eu.

What we collect and why

When you submit the quote form we process the name, email address and project description you provide, together with any document you choose to send us, so that we can respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote.

If you become a client, we process the contact and project details needed to carry out and invoice the work.

Our servers keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run any analytics or visitor-tracking service.

Legal basis

We rely on your consent when you send an enquiry, on the performance of a contract when we carry out translation work for you, and on our legitimate interest in operating and securing this website.

Confidentiality of your documents

Documents you send are treated as confidential. They are used only to quote and, if engaged, to perform the translation. We do not enter unpublished material into public machine-translation engines.

Where you tell us material is unpublished, we will put a non-disclosure agreement in place before you send it.

Who processes the data

We use a limited set of processors to run the service, each bound by a data-processing agreement: Vercel Inc. for website hosting and application processing, Neon Inc. for the database, and Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd for email.

The website runs in Vercel's Frankfurt region and the database is hosted in Frankfurt, so enquiries and documents you send are processed and stored within the European Union. Our processors are established in the United States and may access data from there for support and maintenance under the standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects, and any document sent with them, are deleted twelve months after the last contact. Twelve months covers a realistic follow-up window without keeping material we no longer need.

Project records and invoices are kept for seven years, the retention period Dutch tax law requires of us (article 52 of the Algemene wet inzake rijksbelastingen). Source documents we no longer need are removed from active storage sooner, and on request.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email us at legal@presdia.eu.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Changes

We may update this statement. The date at the top reflects the latest version.
