Quality

How the work is checked

Translation quality is a question of process, not a promise. This is the workflow every project runs through, and the standard it is built to.

The controls

  1. A qualified specialist translates

Each project goes to a translator who works only into their mother tongue and knows the subject: legal, technical, medical, marketing or subtitling. Nobody translates outside their field.

  2. A second linguist revises

Every translation is checked against the source by a second qualified linguist. A different person, not the translator rereading their own work. It is the step that costs time, and the reason the Reviewed tier exists.

  3. One project manager owns the file

The same contact runs the project from quote to delivery, holds the terminology decisions, and answers your questions. You never re-explain the job.

  4. Terminology is kept, not rediscovered

Approved terms and previous translations are stored per client, so the second job matches the first and the tenth still matches both.

  5. Corrections feed back

If something is wrong, it gets fixed and the reason is recorded against your terminology, so the same decision is not made differently next time.

The standard

Our Reviewed and Certified tiers follow the ISO 17100 workflow.

ISO 17100 is the international standard for translation services. It requires a qualified translator, an independent revision by a second qualified linguist, defined project management, and traceable records. Our process is built to meet those requirements.

Confidentiality

Material usually reaches us before it is public: contracts, filings, product launches. Files go only to the linguists assigned to the project, everyone who touches them is under a confidentiality agreement, and files are removed from active storage on request.
