Questions

Answers before you ask.

The things clients ask most often, answered plainly. Anything else, just ask.

How fast can you turn work around?
Most documents under 3,000 words come back in two working days. Tell us the deadline and we will say yes or no before you commit.
Do you use machine translation?
Only where a client asks for it on high volume catalogue work, and always with a linguist editing every segment. For legal, marketing and medical work we quote human translation by default.
What happens to confidential files?
Files go only to the linguists assigned to your project, and they never enter a public machine-translation engine. A confidentiality agreement is available on request — ask when you request a quote and we sign one before anything unpublished arrives.
Can you match our existing terminology?
Yes. Send a glossary or previous translations and we build a terminology base from them, then keep it updated as your product changes.
Which languages do you cover?
Ten: Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese and Arabic. We staff these with translators who have worked in the subject rather than claiming a long list we cannot cover.
How is a quote calculated?
Word count, subject matter and deadline. The quote is fixed once given, and repeated content is discounted rather than billed twice.
